Welcome to Kevin Ruby's Final Portfolio for WRTG 3035! This is a custom built website to house the writing pieces I have worked on through the course of the semester. In the upper left corner, you can find a menu tab. From here, you can navigate to which project you would like to view. Each section will contain a description of the assignment, as well as provide a download of my writing. Enjoy!
This section contains my framing letter. WRTG 3035 with Professor Atwell was an amazing experience, the things I took away from this course will stick with me forever.
This Fourm Analysis was written to differentiate the different styles of, well, forums. This project disected the differences in Scholary articles vs Popular articles. Specifically, I examined the differences in layout, writers rhetoric, and overall audiences. I compared research papers vs WIRED.com, and the different ways they wrote about self driving cars.
This paper is a literature review written to examine the research done in the field of autonomous robots and their effect on the economy, specifically the unemployment rate. This project uses previously done research to draw conclusions as to where and how we can continue to observe the robots effects on the US unemployment rate.
My White Paper was written to describe the problems within the Department of Computer Science at CU Boulder. This project inlcudes analysis of a survey custom made for this topic, as well as interviews with admin within the department and The College of Engineering. I have also included a progress report, written to Prof. Atwell.
